The company explains that smart lighting upgrades can save money because LED retrofits use up to 75 percent less energy than conventional lighting and last much longer, occupancy sensors prevent lights from staying on when areas are unoccupied and combining LED retrofits with smart controls reduces energy consumption and can qualify for rebates
